In order to run our programme 2009-2010 we need to raise $ 198,400 (£142,000)4 Seminars for Teachers in Orphanages in the RegionsPurpose : To increase the specialised skills of Senior Teaching Staff within orphanages to ensure that the young adults have the required personal skills and education to make the transition to life outside institutional care. Cost : 20 seminars (8 hours per day) in different regions $17,574 (£12,600)Bursary Programme for Graduate OrphansPurpose to : To provide individual bursaries to students who are motivate to pursue higher education Cost of 9 bursaries including administrative and staff costs $55,000 ( £40,000)Regional Parental Seminar Programme PskovPurpose : To empower parents to know their rights, increase their competence and skills enhancement of specials working with special needs children in the Pskov region Cost of training staff to travel to region and honorarium to deliver programme $6222 (£4,460)Educational Opportunities for Special Needs Children in PskovPurpose : Develop Specially Adapted Environment for Education of special needs children in 5 sectors of Pskov Oblast Staff Training , Accommodation, Educational Materials $22,500 (£16,000)Orenburg Pilot ProgrammePurpose : To set up School and Workshop for young adults with special needs Costs : for School : $23,050 (£16,500 ) for Workshop : $14,900 (already funded by Raiffeisen Bank)Seminars and Teacher Training Courses in RegionsPurpose : To replicate models of education for special needs children by training new staff so that more children will have access to specialised expert care. Regions would include Samara , Krasnoyarsk,Petrozavodsk, Irkutzk, Kransnodar, Novosibirsk, Gorno-Altajsk, Kemerovo, Pskov, Snezhinsk Cost of 10 training seminars in above regions $59,111 ( £42,400)In addition our organisational costs for 2009-2010 are $103,000 (£74,000)Detailed Budgets can be supplied on request |
