Charity dinner at the Stella Art GalleryOn November 27, a charity dinner was held at the Stella Art Gallery. The purpose was to present the “Partners in Hope” fund to the Russian business community. The event was attended by Mr. Vyatcheslav Fetisov, an honorary patron of the fund and Head of the Federal Agency for Physical Culture and Sport of Russia, H.E. Anthony Brenton, H.M. Ambassador to Russia, Mr. Guy de Selliers, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Dr. Leonid Roshal, CEO of Surgical and Traumatological Hospital for Children, Mr. Richard Wallace, Vice President of Renaissance Capital Investment Group, Mr. Andrei Bugrov, Managing Director of Interros investment company, Mr. Vyatcheslav Kopyov, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sistema financial holding, as well as representatives of other Russian and foreign companies. Ms. Maria Morozova, the “Partners in Hope” Director for Russia, introduced the project leaders whom the fund has been supporting for a number of years. The guests enjoyed the performance by young musicians studying in the Central Musical School and listened to a presentation by Kolya Grishunin, a beneficiary of one of the projects supported by “Partners in Hope”.

Of the 500 orphans graduating each year from institutions in Moscow only 3% will have the confidence to take on a job, most will be vulnerable to criminal activity which continues the cycle of no hope.
